SALARY RANGE: S$3,000 - S$6,000 depending on qualifications and experience
LOCATION: City Hall
WORKING HOURS: 5 days week
JOB SCOPE:
· Craft out press releases with a news-worthy angle
· Copy-write and copy-edit articles
· Assist consultants in online research and data collation.
· Execute digital campaigns online for clients
· Participate in social media activities (facebook, twitter, blogs)
· Liaise and provide support to customers and stakeholders
· Draft out proposals and presentations
· Coordinate projects
· Perform administrative duties
REQUIREMENTS:
· Degree / Diploma in the field of Mass Communications, Journalism, Media, Marketing, Business Comm or related area. Fresh grads welcomed to apply.
· Excellent written English and strong command of grammar plus attentive to details. Innate flair in your written English that impresses.
· Efficient with the capability to handle multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines;
· Fast learner, resourceful and uses own initiative to get things down and keep to tight deadlines.
· Extrememly Web savvy - you participate in forums, maintain blogs, hang out in social networks, and use the internet daily.
· Strong portfolio – ALL APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO SEND IN THEIR PORTFOLIO OF WRITTEN WORKS
ADDITIONAL EXPERTISE THAT IMPRESS US:
· You actively participate in social media space (i.e. you are a regular contribute in message boards and forums, you blog excessively, twitter). Please give username and URLs whenever possible
· You are extremely web savvy. Terms such as search engine marketing, search engine optimization, social media marketing ring a bell to you.
· You have experienced in marketing. You know what are value propositions, unique selling points (USP), and have no problem writing a marketing pitch that sells or convinces.
