We are a regional publishing company (lifestyle magazines, etc) based in Singapore, looking to recruit an advertising sales executive who will be chiefly responsible for selling advertising space in our magazines.
We are a young and entrepreneurial set-up, and as such we will be able to offer a dynamic, fast-growing and exciting working environment with plenty of opportunities for personal growth. In addition, staff will be able to benefit from flexible work arrangements (including occasionally working from home) as long as deadlines are met.
The job also potentially offers the opportunity for travel around the region.
Requirements
- Any bachelor's degree or a diploma in mass communications
- At least one year's experience in sales/marketing, not necessarily within advertising but this would be an advantage
- A high level of proficiency in English
- A dynamic, proactive and outgoing personality
- An ability to meet deadlines and targets
Job Scope
- Advertising sales to clients across a variety of industries
- Account management
- PR and promotional work (occasional)
- Role may involve travel from time to time
Remuneration
- Base salary of $2,420 to $3,380 per month depending on experience and qualifications
- Very attractive performance-related pay component, including personal sales commission, recurring sales commission (even for accounts taken over from others), and firm wide profit sharing
- Nett income (basic + bonuses) will be in the region of $3,500 to $6,500 per month
